Third to Thistlecrack in Grade 1 novice hurdle three years ago and was a decent sort over fences. Has found life tough over the last 16 months though and dropped 19lb in the weights. Not disgraced last time so worth considering.

This might be an opportunity for the likeable OUR KAEMPFER to gain a confidence boositng success having been in the doldrums for quite some time. He is very well handicapped on old form and did show a little more spark last time. Duke Debarry and Lex Talionis both won recently but have to prove themselves at this trip. Just Milly won't be far away and may be in the thick of the action once again.
