Horse silk
200/1
Little sign of ability in two starts in bumpers and two over hurdles. Tried in a tongue tie for the first time and needs massive improvement.
Placed in a point-to-point and showed promise on his debut in a bumper at this track before disappointing last time. Bred to be a jumper so one to bear in mind on his hurdling debut.

100/1
Showed a little promise in bumpers, but his form in three hurdles contests, latterly in first-time cheekpieces, has been woeful. Can only be watched until showing more.
4
Horse silk
10/1
Point-to-point winner who did not show a great deal on debut in a bumper for his top stable at Ascot in November. Has been given a break and is of interest on his first outing over hurdles.
5
Horse silk
8/11
Promise in a bumper before finishing second of six on his hurdling debut at Ludlow in November. Should improve for the experience and champion trainer remains in great form.
6
Horse silk
5/1
Winner of a bumper on debut and by no means disgraced in two subsequent outings in that sphere. Clearly has ability and is one to note on his hurdling bow.
7

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: James Bowen(3)| T: A King| BF| C
5/2
Second to a good sort at Newbury in December, but disappointing next time when long odds-on at Bangor. Needs to get back on track, but is clearly of interest for his respected stable.
8
Horse silk
66/1
Placed in the first of his two hurdles starts, both of which have been over longer trips. May be vulnerable to speedier types dropped in distance.

Forecasts

Haul Away (8/11), Potterman (5/2), Myplaceatmidnight (5/1), Dr Rhythm (10/1), Commodore Barry (14/1), Shanroe Tic Tec (66/1), Dassett Gold (100/1), Cockney Seagull (200/1)

Verdict

Some top stables are represented and one of them saddles the promising HAUL AWAY, who should be able to build on his promising hurdling debut at Ludlow. Dr Rhythm and, in particular, Potterman, are others from respected stables who have to be considered, while Myplaceatmidnight and Commordore Barry should be checked for market support as they make their jumping debuts.
  1. Haul Away
  2. Potterman
  3. Dr Rhythm
