Placed in a couple of bumpers having had three starts in this sphere but he was well beaten over C&D last time. Did shape well on his bumper debut but hasn't gone on from there and looks vulnerable again.

Brother to a useful hurdler in Dadsintrouble and a half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Psychedelic Rock. Yard have a fairly modest bumper record though and a market positive would be needed to support this one.

Shaped like a stayer on his bumper debut only passing beaten horses late on and his second run was much the same. Looks to need a greater test of stamina to show his worth; the extra 2f will be a help here.

Placed on both starts in point-to-points he shaped a fair bit better than his final placing on his sole start in a bumper so far. Needs to be able to build on that now on better ground but has a least shown some ability.
Trainer always to be respected here this Jeremy gelding makes his debut having cost £46,000 as a three-year-old. Pedigree makes a fair amount of appeal and he's one of the more likely types.

Half-brother to five winners including the smart hurdler/chaser Lie Forrit he was fitted with a hood for his debut over 1m6f here. Ran very green though and looks to need time and distance to fulfil any potential.
Has an interesting pedigree with the dam a bumper winner and some useful Flat winners amongst the relations. Trainer has a decent record in this sphere and he's one to note in the market.
Half-brother to five winners including smart hurdler/chaser Glencove Marina who stayed 3m. Dam was unraced and trainer is already off the mark in bumpers this year.

Forecasts

Manning Estate (7/2), Johnny Rocco (7/2), Bitofblinding (7/2), Lord Condi (6/1), Black Lightning (6/1), Shannon Light (17/2), Go Forrit (14/1), Dadsinluck (20/1)

Verdict

Bumpers around here tend to be stamina tests run over 2m2f as they are here and that could suit BITOFBLINDING who comes from a stable that do well around here and he cost the most of these at the sales. Johnny Rocco looks a well-bred type for this sort of test and he shapes up as the main danger here. Black Lightning has the experience but is starting to look a little vulnerable now while Manning Estate represents a stable that are already up-and-running in this sphere already this season.
  1. Bitofblinding
  2. Johnny Rocco
  3. Manning Estate
