Well beaten in a Huntingdon bumper in 2015 and sole start since came when pulling up at Huntingdon in December 2016. Probably best watched on debut for a new yard.

Placed twice over hurdles and beaten just a neck over an extended 2m4f at Market Rasen (heavy) in first time cheekpieces (retained) last time. Likely to run well once more.
Placed in a point-to-point and registered his first placed effort under rules when third at Ludlow (2m5f, soft) on his first outing since wind surgery. Interesting to see how he fares in this contest.

Forecasts

Hatchet Jack (5/4), Potters Hedger (7/2), Flynnvincible (4/1), Chimes Of Dylan (5/1), Don Des Fosses (5/1), Touchy Subject (11/1), Little Vic (66/1)

Verdict

HATCHET JACK has shown some decent form in handicap company this winter and he can get off the mark in this seven runner maiden hurdle. The selection would likely appreciate any overnight rain and he can get the better of Flynnvincible who represents a yard who do well here while Chimes Of Dylan can claim third with the trip and forecast ground in his favour.
  1. Hatchet Jack
  2. Flynnvincible
  3. Chimes Of Dylan
