Bred to stay well and stayed on to land a Taunton 3m handicap on soft in February off a 6lb lower mark. Stayed further as a novice so a test is always going to suit but she does have to handle this quicker surface.

Now switches back to hurdles having shown nothing over fences of late despite a rapidly falling mark. Runs here back off a 9lb lower mark than her last chase run trying this staying trip for the first time.

Yard are a little quiet but this one was running well in staying events in the autumn on similar ground to today. Now back from wind surgery with a decent mark to work with although he might just need this run.

Showed a fine attitude under an attacking and well judged ride by a claiming amateur last time here over 3m2f in much more testing conditions. That was a career best run and now has to back that up off a mark that has proved beyond her in the past.

Has looked slow in novice hurdles so far and now has a first-time visor added to a tongue-tie for his handicap debut. This test should suit though and he could show more at this trip (the longest he's tried).

Not badly treated on his best form in Ireland despite being well held on his two runs in GB so far. Still to prove himself over this trip though but the mark is a modest one.

Much better on her second start back from a wind op cashing in on a further fall in the weights to hold-off a well backed runner-up at Taunton (3m, quick ground). Conditions hold no fears here but there is a question of consistency.

Forecasts

Hollow Park (5/2), Hoo Bally Diva (9/2), Walter Oneeightone (5/1), Diamond Benny (6/1), Bagging Turf (6/1), Mauna Kea (7/1), Tailor Tom (8/1), Snowball (10/1), Young Lou (12/1)

Verdict

This looks a more competitive division of this staying hurdle with two recent Taunton winners looking as though they will play a leading part. Hollow Park looks to have benefitted from a wind op although she has to cope with a higher mark here but the stable are in good form having had a big winner on Saturday. HOO BALLY DIVA is the other winner in that category and she looks to have to defy a 6lb rise and quicker ground but she does have a mildly progressive look about her. Young Lou scored in gutsy style here last time but may be vulnerable this time around while Walter Oneeightone is a potential improver having now had wind surgery.
  1. Hoo Bally Diva
  2. Hollow Park
  3. Walter Oneeightone
