New Approach half-brother to Irish Derby and St Leger runner-up Midas Touch and also to Coronet who won the Ribblesdale in these silks. Sent off favourite and no mistake over this trip at Chelmsford in November. Strong claims again on return.
Sea The Stars colt, represents yard in form on debut and rider does well around this circuit. Interesting newcomer.

Iffraaj colt related to multiple winners including the useful two-year-old 6f winner Heaven's Heart, poor in two turf runs last year and plenty room for improvement now switched to the AW.

Cape Cross colt, cost €90,000 as a foal and 85,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to three winners, decent start last month at Newmarket (1m2f, good) and should be able to take step forward.
Thewayyouare gelding, makes debut in what seems a tough school here, yard have had a winner lately but likely to come on for this experience.

Sea The Stars colt makes racecourse bow for Karl Burke here. Well thought of and holds a Derby entry, very much one to be noted.

Zoffany filly cost £62,000 as a yearling, nicely related to couple of winners over longer trips. Hood worn on first two starts is discarded now and needs major improvement.

Forecasts

Photographer (8/13), El Ghazwani (4/1), Mount Ararat (9/2), Galactic Spirit (13/2), Celestial Force (16/1), Karma King (66/1), Comporta (80/1), Harlequin Dancer (125/1)

Verdict

PHOTOGRAPHER made a solid start in winning at Chelmsford in November and should prove up to this on his return for John Gosden, who has team in superlative form right now (17-43). Wolverhampton winner Galactic Spirit has the best form of those that have had a run but newcomers Mount Ararat and Celestial Force – in that order – are potential players.

  2. Galactic Spirit
  3. Mount Ararat
