Relatively cheap purchase at E3,000 last year, but some encouragement to be taken from her pedigree, being related to useful winners Onefitzall and Credit Box. Likely we won't see the best of her until going up in trip though, so best watched.
Placed in a couple of minor point-to-points but no show in three starts under Rules and the cheekpieces added today need to have a major effect.
Placed in a pint-to-point and outran her 25/1 odds on bumper debut when third here last month. Could easily improve with that under her belt and can be looked at for e/w purposes here.
Looked useful when not beaten far by good horses in bumpers but that was back in 2016 and she's not progressed as expected. Plenty on her plate on hurdles debut now.
Twice a faller in point-to-points and tailed off on debut at Limerick last month. No realistic chance.
Has run to a consistent level without actually improving in four maiden hurdles, arguably best effort coming here at Cork last October. Conditions fine but needs plenty more to score here.
Not a bad effort on debut when staying on nicely to grab third behind a couple of useful sorts at Thurles last month (One First Cut in second). Should improve on that and with the heavy ground no problem, may get in the places.
Dam was a hurdles winner and a half-sister to the useful Strong Pursuit, but she was well beaten on debut here last month and needs to have come on an awful lot from that.
Has the form in the bank, being a bumper winner at Limerick in December and will find this company much less taxing after her fourth in Listed company last time. Ground should be fine and she's every chance of scoring here.
Placed in a point-to-point but well beaten both starts under Rules. Others readily hold stronger claims here.
Second to the useful Schuh Time in March (Hev Groovy 13l away in third) and that's not her only good effort, having been fourth in better company than today's at Fairyhouse in January. Looks one of the main players again.
Not seen out since a winner in the French provinces back in 2016, which makes you believe she's either needed time or has had issues, but top yard will no doubt have her in good shape for this. Has to be considered.
Pulled up both starts to date, a point-to-point and maiden hurdle here last month. Needs massive improvement from somewhere to even get involved.
Modest form in one bumper and one maiden hurdle before unseating at Listowel last time, beaten when doing do. No realistic chance here.
Forecasts
Pakora (1/2), Motown Girl (7/2), One First Cut (6/1), Glebe Girl (14/1), Baile Boru (33/1), Hey Groovy (33/1), Loughaderra Flame (66/1), Don't Tell Mom (66/1), Annie Clouds (100/1), Whats Your Beef (100/1), The Full Office (100/1), Oaks Empress (100/1), Askcalie (100/1), False Getaway (100/1)
The market will tell us what's expected from Pakora on her belated debut tonight but MOTOWN GIRL has the form in the book already and can prove a tough nut to crack. One First Cut looks the other to consider in a race high where only a handful would appear to hold any meaningful chance.
