Not disgraced on debut at Gowran Park in January and will know more here, but needs a big step forward on that form to challenge here.
Half-brother Rathvilly only raced three times and didn't show much. Not one that instantly catches the eye on pedigree.
Well beaten at a big price on debut last month at Tramore, looking like he needed time and a trip. No realistic chance here.
Dam was a bumper and chase winner, and was herself related to useful sorts, so there's some encouragement to be taken from that. Market likely to tell us what's expected today.
Looked to have a future ahead of him when a good fourth in a decent Leopardstown bumper on debut but a backwards step when only seventh at Thurles last time. Needs to bounce back after that, but could easily do so.
Not without ability on the Flat but it was all at sprint distances and he'll surely find this too much of a stamina test on heavy ground. Well beaten hurdles debut last month and plenty to prove.
Moderate on the Flat but has made a good start to his hurdling career, with two placed efforts in similar company to today's. No issue with heavy ground and a repeat of those efforts surely takes him close in a modest event.
No great promise to be taken from his breeding and yard not known for winners in this sphere. Others readily preferred.
Getting the hang of things now, followed up his good third at Downpatrick in March with an even better effort at Tramore last time, would have won in another stride. Conditions fine and a repeat of latest effort makes him the one to beat.
Not entirely disgraced on bumper debut in January but hasn't gone on from that, and was well beaten off on hurdles debut last month. Not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Cheap purchase last year but is related to a winning pointer and there's other winners on the dam's side, but likely to need this experience. Others preferred.
Didn't show much on the Flat but a better effort when switched to hurdles, sticking to the task to finish fourth (albeit at a respectable distance behind the winner) at Ballinrobe last month. Maybe one for handicaps later in the year.
Showed very little on her only start in a point-to-point at Horse & Jockey in March, and needs an awful lot more than that to get involved in the finish here.
Dam was a sister to a 3m winner, and there's also a bit of speed in her pedigree, so she has her plus points. Might be worth a quick glance in the market to see if there's any support.
Pulled up on debut at Tramore last month and the fact he was sent off 33/1 suggests little was expected. May be more of the same here.

Sometimes A Fox (5/4), Dancing On My Own (3/1), Freedom Chimes (4/1), Dancingwith Storms (10/1), Conron (10/1), Baboin (20/1), Varkhann (20/1), Getaway Gold (25/1), Uno Mas (50/1), Turpin Tale (50/1), Sunshineandshowers (50/1), Desert Grey (50/1), Lilly Geal (50/1), Shedding (50/1), Ballyhubbock (50/1), Flying Vacation (66/1), Bombay Basil (80/1)
SOMETIMES A FOX sets a decent standard here and can continue his progression by chalking up another win at the expense of Freedom Chimes, who looks like making up into a better hurdler than he was on the Flat. With Dancingwith Storms needing to bounce back after his latest effort then Dancing On My Own could be the one for the minor medal.
- Sometimes A Fox
- Freedom Chimes
- Dancing On My Own
