Won a point-to-point just five days ago. Only occasional good form under rules (has won one hunter chase) but clearly arrives here in good heart.

Impressive winner of a Fakenham hunter chase three starts back and won a point-to-point when last seen, but limitations possibly exposed when finishing sixth in a good hunter chase at Catterick in the interim (subsequently disqualified).
Brought up the hat-trick when last seen in point-to-point company. This is obviously tougher but entitled to take his chance under rules.
Yet to get off the mark in point-to-points despite running some nice races, and probably needs to prove himself in that sphere before looking a realistic prospect under rules.

0/12 for this yard so far (both point-to-points and hunter chases) and left with plenty to prove in a competitive enough affair.
Point-to-point win last time out was his first for some time, and only has a bumper to his name under rules. Others hold more convincing claims.

Completed a hat-trick when last seen in a point-to-point. Also won a hunter chase two starts ago at a low level so has some experience of going well under rules, and should be thereabouts again.

Forecasts

Stoleaway (7/4), Kit Barry (4/1), Foxcub (5/1), Minella Friend (5/1), Big Georgie (15/2), Bally River Boy (15/2), Findlay's Find (12/1), Master Sunrise (12/1), Light Flicker (66/1)

Verdict

Most of these have been running well in point-to-points, but have questions to answer in hunter chase company, and STOLEAWAY could be the one to land the spoils. Philip Rowley's charge completed a hat-trick of point-to-points when last seen, and unlikely a number of these has a good record under rules (despite his only win having come at a lower level). He is taken to get the better of Bally River Boy, who has potential in this sphere, and Findlay's Find, a point-to-point winner just five days ago.
  1. Stoleaway
  2. Bally River Boy
  3. Findlay's Find
