Dominated his rivals on his return and handicapper has taken a realistic view. Should be ok at the trip but although he has gone close in two AW starts, his best form has come on turf.
Using Night Story as a yardstick then he looks nicely weighted with Yabass. Stable in excellent form and with more progress likely he is the one to beat.
Caught the eye at Newmarket last autumn when looking a likely sort in marathons for 2018. Trip would have been inadequate on return and he rates a big danger off an unchallenging mark.
Shaped in his early starts that a stamina test would suit and so it proved with a battling success at Pontefract (10f, soft) on final start as a juvenile. Faces rivals with greater scope and off more attractive marks on his return.
Beat an Archie Watson horse over C&D and with something in hand. That rival has been beaten since, but she is clearly progressive.
Forecasts
Yabass (9/4), Antonian (5/2), Austrian School (7/2), Jeremiah (5/1), We Know (10/1), Blame Me Forever (20/1)
ANTONIAN and Jeremiah look the two to concentrate as both appeal as the types to improve at this trip. The latter went into many notebooks last autumn, but the selection is proven on polytrack and the yard are in tremendous form with this age group. Yabass , a few pounds below his best on this surface in the past, and Blame Me Forever are best of the rest.
