Beat the useful Peach Melba over 7f last term before lacking the same turn of foot over this trip on her next two starts. Drops in class for her return and yard are off to a good start.

Most effective when she gets an easy lead, as seen in Listed company at York last year. Reappearance run was a little disappointing and others may be lurking on better handicap marks.

Slowly climbing in the weights following her winter gain which include a 5f victory here. Not so strong latest, but maybe that was the 'Southwell' factor, and just 2lb higher than when taking at Newcastle class 4 contest in January.

Made all to score at Kempton on reappearance and looks the sort to do well around the sharper tracks. A 9lb rise in the weights necessitates further improvement but she remains competitively weighted with Gold Filigree.

Closely matched with Puds on winter form but that rival may have greater potential for improvement. Up in grade and something to prove.

Forecasts

Tirania (11/8), Puds (9/4), Gold Filigree (3/1), Mayyasah (7/2), Sandra's Secret (8/1), Rebel Assault (14/1), Rosina (20/1)

Verdict

There should be plenty of pace in this with Puds, Rebel Assault, Gold Filigree and Sandra's Secret liking to press on. TIRANIA would ideally want further but this may be set up for something to strike from off the pace and her form in better company makes her the one to beat. Mayyasah was highly regarded as a juvenile and a market move would help determine whether she has wintered well enough to overcome what appears a tough mark.
  1. Tirania
  2. Sandra's Secret
  3. Puds
