Fair debut effort at Nottingham (1m½f, soft) back in November when staying on for fifth. This step up in trip should suit and bold bid expected.
Cost 10,000 gns as a two-year-old. This trip looks a good starting point on paper but up against a couple of promising types here.
Beaten a long way on two starts to date including at Newbury last time (sent off 250/1). Likely to find this tough going once more and handicaps will suit better on the back of this.
Good dirt pedigree, half-brother to US Grade 1 winner Halfbridled, and has shown promise on both starts to date, although arguably a backwards step when third of three at Newcastle last time. Cost $550,000 as a yearling and that looks expensive now.
Brings the best form to the table of these and has been gelded over the winter. Likely to be match fit and a big player in this.
Forecasts
Allieyf (4/5), Making Miracles (3/1), Kings Full (10/3), Charlie Dove (50/1), Flat Out Eric (100/1)
Kings Full cost a fortune but hasn’t lived up to that price tag yet. Making Miracles brings the best form to the table and has been gelded over the winter so we can expect a solid run but ready preference is for ALLIEYF. The son of New Approach is bred to relish middle distances and looked a surefire future winner on debut and should go well on his return to action.
- Allieyf
- Making Miracles
- Kings Full
