Off the mark at only the second attempt when scoring at Lingfield earlier this month. Clearly has ability, but the concession of so much weight is slightly offputting.
Narrow winner on debut at Kempton in January and was not disgraced under a penalty when third of six at Lingfield last time. Warrants plenty of respect.
Gelded son of Champs Elysees who cost 40,000 gns as a yearling. Too green to do himself justice when last of five on debut at Wolverhampton and may need a little more time to mature.
Big Bad Bob colt who, cost €120,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to six winners, including the high-class Reliable Man. Fourth of 14 on debut at Salisbury in September and is likely to do much better as a three-year-old. Cheekpieces fitted.
Mid-division on both starts at Wolverhampton and was not beaten far in the first of them. Steps up 1½f in a first-time hood and is one to note in the betting.
Foxwedge filly who fetched 13,000 gns as a yearling. Stayed on well to win on debut over 1m at this venue and should be suited by stepping up in distance. On the short list.
A Kheleyf filly out of a Montjeu mare, she is a half-sister to Pearl Noir and Tilly Devine. Makes her debut against some promising sorts and is best watched on this occasion.
Forecasts
Litigation (7/4), Rashdan (7/2), Mercer's Troop (5/1), Albizzia (6/1), That's So Cool (7/1), Chica Da Silva (25/1), Duration (33/1)
Albizzia is promising, but has plenty to do at the weights, so this may rest between Mercer's Troop, Rashdan and LITIGATION. All three have shown a fair degree of promise, but the selection has proved she is effective on this surface and should appreciate the step up in trip. Duration and That's So Cool are worth keeping an eye on with the future in mind.
