Has not looked the finished article so far and the handicapper may need to be even more forgiving.
Twice a winner this year on the AW. Went close at Southwell (1m4f) last time on the Fibresand having travelled well through the race. Did not quite see out the trip and the extra 2f may be too much on ground which is likely to be soft.
Bred for this trip and ground so this looks a good opportunity to open her account. Rider 4-10 for the yard.
Still looked green last time and doubtful Plan A was adopted. Was a €60,000 purchase, so there should be more to come at some point.
Won with more to spare than the margin suggests at Lingfield and he should cope with the extra 2f. Untested on ground as soft as expected.
Has finished in the rear on all his starts when he has not found much for pressure. Up in distance but hard to recommend.
Has proved disappointing given his original purchase price and pedigree. Not bred to stay this far but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Forecasts
Deadly Reel (7/4), Quantatmental (3/1), Mr Carbonator (6/1), Sauchiehall Street (6/1), Sincerely Resdev (8/1), River Glades (11/1), Keynote (40/1)
DEADLY REEL makes most appeal as she looks the one most likely to see out the trip on ground expected to be on the soft side. Mr Carbonator and Sauchiehall Street bring good recent AW form to the table, whilst Quantatmental may be better than we have seen so far.
- Deadly Reel
- Sauchiehall Street
- Mr Carbonator
