Hugely-progressive gelding who made it four wins from his last five starts when romping home in the Lincoln Handicap at Doncaster on his seasonal reappearance. Looked a Group horse in the making there and gets the chance to confirm that impression
Tough and consistent sort who relished the soft ground when beating Ribchester to win the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood last year. That is much the best form on offer, but whether he can replicate it on this livelier surface is debatable.
Ran with credit in three handicaps at Meydan since the turn of the year. Won a Listed race over C&D in September and should run respectably back at this venue.
Disquaified after passing the post first in the Winter Derby at Lingfield in February. Equally capable on turf and, proven over further, should be staying on well at the finish.
Capable performer who seemed to run to form when fourth of eight in a Group 3 contest at Newmarket recently. Official ratings give him a shout, but he needs to end a lengthy losing run.
Grand campaigner who looked as good as ever when winning this race last year and landing a Group 3 contest at Epsom in June. Limitations were exposed in subsequent starts, but he clearly acts well over C&D and is much respected.
Very useful performer at this best and showed his liking for plenty of give underfoot when successful in a Group 3 race at Saint-Cloud on his seasonal reappearance. Much respected on his attempt to follow up, but better ground may not be ideal.
Winner of a Group 3 fillies' contest over C&D in September, but was well held at a higher level in two outings at the back end of last season. Goes well fresh and is one to consider.
Forecasts
Addeybb (6/4), Stormy Antarctic (9/2), Here Comes When (13/2), Aljazzi (7/1), Khafoo Shememi (10/1), Robin Of Navan (14/1), Sovereign Debt (14/1), Mr Owen (25/1)
Here Comes When and Stormy Antarctic boast form which gives them serious chances at this level, but both would like some rain and could be vulnerable if it fails to arrive. Addeybb looked seriously talented when winning the Lincoln Handicap last time, but is a short enough price for a horse stepping up markedly in class, so a chance is taken on ALJAZZI, who won decisively on good ground in a Group 3 contest over C&D last year and has a decent record when fresh. Sovereign Debt is respected in his bid to repeat last year's success.
- Aljazzi
- Addeybb
- Stormy Antarctic
