Decent effort in finishing third in a Huntingdon bumper on good-to-soft ground when making his debut a month ago. Interesting if repeating that effort in this.

Forecasts

Good Man Jim (11/4), Oakley (3/1), Emitom (11/2), Ganache (10/1), Katahdin (12/1), Realms Of Fire (14/1), Equus Leader (14/1), Third Wind (14/1), Floki (16/1), Kilbrew Boy (28/1), Nearly Perfect (33/1), Some Boy Mccoy (33/1), Zee Man (40/1), Moor Freedom (50/1), Fearnie Lou (50/1), Eurkash (66/1), Admiral Anson (80/1), Blazing Gold (100/1)

Verdict

GANACHE represents a leading stable here and having run well on debut at Kempton he can get off the mark at the second time of asking in the second division of the bumper. The selection should have improved for that experience and can get the better of Moor Freedom who is a half-sister to a bumper winner and out of a bumper winner herself. Good Man Jim was an expensive purchase following his maiden point-to-point win and he can claim third on his rules debut.
  1. Ganache
  2. Moor Freedom
  3. Good Man Jim
