Lightly raced since finishing runner-up at Bangor (3m, soft) in December 2016. Pulled up on seasonal debut at Ascot (3m, good-to-soft) in November and reverts to hurdles following a break.
Impressive winner at Market Rasen (2m7f, soft) last month and ran well in defeat in a Grade 3 contest subsequently. One for the shortlist off a mark 8lb higher than for that Market Rasen success.
Completed a hat-trick when winning on good-to-soft ground over 3m at Musselburgh in January. Good effort in finishing 2L second over 3m2f there subsequently and he is one to note in this contest.
Placed over 3m2f at Fontwell (heavy) in March. Well beaten at Cheltenham subsequently and more needed if he's to take this.
Below par in two starts since wind surgery and handicap mark is falling as a result. Probably best watched at present however.
Successful twice over fences this season but pulled up when last seen in action at Ludlow (3m, good-to-soft) in first time cheekpieces earlier this month and reverts to hurdles here.
Failed to complete in two of his last four starts and finished well beaten on soft ground over fences at Newbury a month ago. Wears cheekpieces for the first time.
Winner of a match race at Huntingdon (3m1f, good-to-soft) in March last year. Fair efforts in defeat since including when 14L fourth at Warwick (3m2f, heavy) in January. Wears cheekpieces for the first time in this contest.
Dual winner at Towcester including in a 2m4f novice chase on good ground in November. Held in handicaps twice subsequently and returns to hurdles for this.
Improved effort in finishing runner-up over an extended 2m7f at Ascot (soft) a month ago. One to note despite having to race off a 1lb higher mark.
Point-to-piont winner on soft-to-heavy ground and ran well on first two hurdles starts. Pulled up here on handicap debut over 2m5f last time and wears a tongue tie for the first time upped in trip.
Maiden after seven starts but registered a career best effort in finishing runner-up on heavy ground at Uttoxeter last time out. More needed from out of the handicap here.

The selection had to give best to a useful hurdler at Musselburgh last time and can see off Ascot second Salmanazar who looks the pick of the Alan King pair. Forthefunofit drops in grade having run well at Aintree last time out and he is taken to finish third.
