Form: 743

Powerstown Park^p¹⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: James Davies| T: S Thomas

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: R Johnson| T: P Hobbs & J White

10/3

Promising debut at Ascot (good-to-soft) in November but well held on heavy ground at Exeter subsequently. Return to good-to-soft ground forecast for this contest should see him in a better light.

Forecasts

Mystical Clouds (2/1), Turangi (10/3), Earlshill (11/2), Subcontinent (8/1), Indirocco (8/1), Stormy Milan (11/1), Judge John Deed (20/1), Sammylou (33/1), Scottshill (40/1), Schap (66/1), Cojack (66/1), Braddan Head (80/1), Gortnagirl (100/1), Powerstown Park (100/1), Future Boy (100/1), Sharp Getaway (100/1), The Lawley (200/1), Her Dream (250/1)

MYSTICAL CLOUDS shaped as if this step up in trip would suit when finishing third on hurdling debut and he can take this opening contest for Alan King. The selection has form on the forecast good-to-soft going and can see off Stormy Milan who has had wind surgery since his Doncaster effort in early December. The going was against Turangi last time out and he is taken to finish third with underfoot conditions likely to be more to his liking for this.
