Has had a tremendous winter and his latest run may have come too soon following his victory here eight days earlier. Expected to stay this longer trip providing the ground remains good.
Off the track since disappointing at Market Rasen on Boxing Day. Possible that conditions were softer than ideal and he landed a gamble on his penultimate start when conditions were more favourable.
Made all to score on Boxing Day and he has underperformed since when denied that role. Should have little difficulty in setting the tempo and the stable have returned to form.
Has shown some promise over hurdles but has not made much progress and his handicap mark seems to overestimate his achievements. Switches to fences and steps up in trip with an awful lot to prove.
Hit form last spring with back to back victories including one in higher grade. May have found the ground too soft and the trip too far last time, but that has seen him drop below his last winning mark and he is of obvious interest here.
Vocaliser has had a good winter but there may be better handicapped rivals in this and he is unproven at the trip. Bestwork should be able to force the pace, but he may set this up nicely for MINELLA TWEET who came good at this stage last year and who will appreciate the quicker conditions.
