Well behind Alberta here in February but exploited a good mark next time. Failed to get competitive under his revised rating next time and that could be a problem again here.
Scored here in February but Le Capricieux is weighted to turn the tables and he has not recaptured that same sparkle in his two runs since.
Without a win since October 2015 but 3-6 in this grade. Has been taking on better company and needs to be considered off an attractive mark and with conditions forecast to be in his favour.
Convincing Hereford winner under a positive ride and not disgraced off his new mark next time. Handles any ground and remains open to improvement.
Won a bumper here last year and he has been steadily progressive over hurdles. Hard to argue he is well-handicapped and he needs to pull out a lot more in order to score.
Improved effort last time following wind surgery and fitting of a tongue-tie. Remains feasibly treated having dropped in the weights this season and one for the shortlist.
A while since producing his best and disappointing last time when long odds-on for a seller. One to have reservations about at present.
Has proved expensive to follow but possible she has been waiting for better ground. Last spring's form with Irish Roe gives her an outstanding chance if that proves the case.
Has not made as much progress as the handicapper seems to think. Needs to improve a fair bit off this mark, but stable are having a good week.
Hard to recommend judged on recent efforts, but hard to escape how well the yard's horses are performing at present and he would be considered well-handicapped on his novice form.
Plumpton winner who has run some notable races here and enjoys a 5lb pull with Alberta for 4L based on February C&D running. Took a heavy fall last time and claims if none the worse for that mishap.
Former top-class Flat performer who has lost his way since going hurdling. Stable have been in better form of late, but it will still take a leap of faith to recommend him.
Record is 1-25 and that victory came in a seller two years ago. Stable produced a shock at Huntingdon on Tuesday and it will be an even bigger surprise if he should prove good enough.
Sprang a big surprise having shown very little before to score on his second handicap start. That form has worked out well in lower grades but he still faces a much stiffer test here.
Forecasts
All Is Good (4/1), Dinsdale (7/1), Haafapiece (8/1), New Millennium (8/1), Alberta (9/1), Vive Le Roi (9/1), Polly's Pursuit (10/1), Shining Romeo (12/1), Celestial Path (12/1), Regulation (14/1), Le Capricieux (16/1), Away For Slates (20/1), Cassivellaunus (33/1), Monday Club (50/1)
Nicky Henderson's horses always command respect here and Polly's Pursuit may surprise a few who have their fingers burnt by her in recent months. Le Capricieux runs well here and is weighted to go close as is Regulation who has a good record in the grade. All Is Good is capable of further improvement, but DINSDALE gets the vote following a much improved display last time. That was his first run following wind surgery and he was unlucky to come up against a well-handicapped rival.
- Dinsdale
- Le Capricieux
- Polly's Pursuit
