Got an uncontested lead but still ran a pleasing second on return to action since running with credit in a valuable York nursery. She won on her second start as a juvenile and is the only confirmed front runner again.
Only once in the money in six starts on the AW but has generally run with credit. Drop in trip a plus on turf debut but needs to step up again.
Very progressive in last five starts last year and resumes with plenty of potential. Got too far back last start so still open to improvement off same mark. Drop in trip not a problem although wouldn't want a slowly run race.
Showed promise under this jockey early last season but then didn't really progress. Looked hard to win with although suffered from a poor draw when last seen on AW. Possible the switch to turf will help and best watched in the betting.
Showed only a glimmer of promise as a juvenile but was well backed on reappearance on AW and ran with great credit dropped back to this trip when getting wide on the track. Market support would be significant and looks open to a lot of improvement.
Represents last year's winning stable but bit disappointing on last two starts since switching to handicap company. Needs to improve for change of headgear and first run on turf.
Took a big step up when running an eye catching race in a valuable sales contest on just her third start last season. Found trouble in running there and interesting on this return to action on a feasible handicap mark.
Showed a similar level of form in three quick races last October and looked the type to fare better in handicaps. Bit more required but worth a check in the market.
Forecasts
Global Excel (15/8), Kalagia (11/2), Indian Warrior (6/1), Enzo's Lad (7/1), Cloud Eight (7/1), Roman Spinner (8/1), Priscilla's Dream (8/1), Spenny's Lass (14/1)
Priscilla's Dream caught the eye at HQ in a valuable event and looks the type to pop up in a race like this at a good price. Kalagla made a nice seasonal reappearance and with that run behind her will be hard to beat if getting the same rope in front again but slight preference is for GLOBAL EXCEL who showed a big step up last start, confirming the market support and with an easier run could have landed the money. Roman Spinner is another obvious chance in a tight race.
- Global Excel
- Kalagia
- Priscilla's Dream
