Distance winner at Kempton earlier this month beating six rivals 1¼L staying on well after rallying in the closing stages. Raised 4lb for the win and another bold show looks likely.
Failed to build on his win in a three-runner affair at Towcester last month when suffering a heavy defeat later in the month off a 3lb higher mark on soft ground at Warwick.
Well beaten and nothing of any note since joining the yard never a factor in three starts. First run since wind op and looks more of a summer jumping prospect.
Beaten favourite last time out when finishing third of seven beaten 3¾L in a Taunton handicap chase over 3m4½f. May not be suited by the drop in trip here.
Not a lot to shout about in a number of dismal performances since the turn of the year. First-time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the improvement required to take a hand here.
Solid and consistent in three starts since January being successful on two occasions at Leicester and Towcester. Still on a decent mark and clearly in good form to be able to land this contest.
Forecasts
Jepeck (9/5), Dontminddboys (11/4), Cadeau Du Bresil (9/2), Leith Hill Lad (13/2), Blackmill (7/1), Royal Tara (16/1)
DONTMINDDBOYS has won three of his last five starts and can continue his fine run of form here. The Robin Dicken-trained gelding completed a double for the year last time out in a Towcester handicap chase and can handle the 5lb rise in the weights here. Last time out beaten favourite Jepeck for trainer Kayley Woolacott and Leith Hill Lad can battle for the minors.
