Not a lot to shout a bout since winning a 2m5½f novice hurdle on soft ground in November off a 10lb higher mark. Needs to be dropping in trip before consideration.
Won a novice hurdle over 2m2½f in February off a 7lb lower mark. Beaten last time out at Fontwell last month but worth a market check in first-time tongue-tie.
Lightly raced gelding but has not shown anything of note in four starts including a heavy defeat when last seen in December. Hard to fancy and others preferred.
Beaten 74L on stable debut at Doncaster when last seen in December. Returns following a wind op and yard have a record at this meeting in the last four years.
Solid and consistent in two races at Taunton and here recently finishing runner-up in both contests. Stable appear to be finally turning the corner.
Forecasts
Vodka All The Way (11/8), Golden Sunrise (7/4), Dancing Shadow (3/1), Stradivarius Davis (14/1), Beyond Supremacy (40/1)
Dancing Shadow and GOLDEN SUNRISE could have this race between them from the off here with preference for the Colin Tizzard-trained five-year-old who won here in February off a 7lb lower mark. The Phillip Hobbs yard look to be turning the corner and Vodka All The Way produced his best effort yet last time out here on handicap debut earlier this month and can give the selection the most to think about.
- Golden Sunrise
- Vodka All The Way
- Dancing Shadow
