Failed to build on a promising run at Towcester in February when finishing eighth of 13 beaten 34L at Taunton last month. Place claims on best form.
Distance winner who has put together a series of consistent runs since February. Clearly in good form right now and one for the shortlist.
Well beaten and never a factor in four starts since the turn of the year and first-time tongue-tie is unlikely to bring about required improvement.
Will have disappointed connections with a series of dismal displays since making his debut in December. Others appear to be improving at a quicker rate.
Second last time out but generally well beaten in three starts since winning a Leicester handicap hurdle in January. May struggle still 4lb higher than last winning mark.
Well behind in two starts since January following a break of six months and the seven-year-old appears to be regressing. Back on a winning mark but hard to fancy.
Has failed to build on a neck win at Fontwell in August last year including pulling-up last time out in a Wincanton handicap hurdle. Looks vulnerable in this company.
Not a lot to shout about in a number of below-par efforts including when last seen in a Towcester handicap chase beaten 40L finishing fourth of nine last October when in the hands of David Dennis. Market should be informative on stable debut.
Distance winner who was beaten favourite last time out when finishing fourth of 14 beaten 10L behind Amber Flash when last seen in July last year. Will possibly need the run on return.
Forecasts
Point N Shoot (5/4), Bermeo (6/1), Fearsome Fred (13/2), Tara Well (7/1), Findusatgorcombe (10/1), Fled Or Pled (12/1), Dropzone (14/1), Willie Mclovin (25/1), Hally's Kitchen (25/1)
Point And Shoot and Hally's Kitchen could be vying for the lead in the early stages here with Tara Well and Findusatgorcombe chasing in behind. The pace could be ideal for the Dr Jeremy Naylor-trained FEARSOME FRED who can come off this pace to land the spoils here.
- Fearsome Fred
- Point N Shoot
- Tara Well
