Prominent racing mare who is paying the price to the handicapper for her fine run of form at this track last summer (a four-time C&D winner on decent ground). Her time will come again once her mark eases.
Twice a runner up since scoring by 2¼L from Roxyfet at Ayr in early January (2m heavy). On the rise up the weights after his narrow defeat by Black Kettle (2m heavy) at Newcastle latest.
Failed to complete in two of his four starts over fences, and hasn't won since his days with Noel Williams (March 2016). Potentially well handicapped on his old hurdles form.
Beaten when unseating his rider at the third last on his return to action at Newcastle earlier this month (2m heavy). That contest also featured plenty of these rivals, so needs to find more with Sky Full Of Stars especially.
A Sedgefield winner for Charlie Longsdon (2m3f good) in August 2016, but it's been a case of barren times since. Falling sharply down the weights, but with good reason.
Absent since finishing a well beaten fifth of seven over C&D in September 2017 (heavy), with her earlier Cartmel success (2m1f soft) only coming at the expense of the thoroughly ungenuine Yourholidayisover.
Made his 100th career start when beaten 3½L by Frankie Ballou at Sedgefield last month, but he's hardly prolific and hasn't won since a Thomas Dowson masterclass over 3m here in May 2017.
Not wholly consistent but talented enough over hurdles and fences in his days with Chris Grant. Sprung a surprise when winning here over 2m4f in June 2017 (made all), but hardly solid at the age of eleven, so therefore dismissed.
Veteran who tends to race at Sedgefield (both successes at that track). Can force the pace, but badly out of sorts for some considerable time and tough to consider as a result.

Sky Full Of Stars (7/2), Cooper's Friend (7/2), Miss Conway (9/2), Captain Sharpe (13/2), Miss Mackie (15/2), Ballycool (17/2), Notonebuttwo (11/1), Bingo D'Olivate (14/1), Kilcullen Lady (16/1), Suprise Vendor (20/1), Duhallowcountry (50/1)
Not an overly appealing contest with at least half of the field happily dismissed for win purposes. Miss Conway returns to her favoured Hexham, but she has plenty of weight, and there's other potential pace angle here which include Duhallowcountry and Notonebuttwo. Bingo D'Olivate is potentially well handicapped on his old hurdles form, but that's because he doesn't tend to win all that often, and his fencing needs some work, therefore the safest option in a moderate race is the recent Newcastle runner up SKY FULL OF STARS. His trainer James Ewart is in a fairly decent spell of form at present.
