Possibly needed the run on return to action in a Thurles handicap hurdle when finishing eighth of 10 beaten 93L in February but has another absence to overcome here.
Distance winner who was beaten favourite last time out when finishing a disappointing fifth of 12 beaten 21L finding no extra at the last behind Goodthyneinmilan earlier this month. Better expected here and one for the shortlist.
Course winner here last time out in a 2m5f handicap hurdle beating nine rivals over 6L on heavy ground last month. Could find a repeat difficult following 12lb hike in the weights but has the quality here.
Beaten a long way in two starts since the turn of the year before a promising second of nine beaten 2½L in a Thurles chase last month. Others preferred on the six-year-olds return to hurdles.
Blundered five out and unseated rider here earlier in the month over this trip. Worth another chance at the distance and place claims here.
Beaten favourite last time out in a Wexford handicap hurdle over 2m last month well held when falling two out. Run at Naas in February gives him a squeak.
Failed to build on a promising second of 10 at Fairyhouse in February when finishing ninth of 10 runners in a Punchestown handicap hurdle later in the month. Looks up against it here.
Improved on a number of below par runs when finishing second of 14 beaten 2L in a Thurles handicap hurdle last month behind Larkfield Lass. Place claims in first-time cheekpieces.
Failed to build on winning comeback run when finishing fifth of eight beaten 8L behind Luckyinmilan at Clonmel last month before a promising second of 12 earlier this month. Clearly in good form but may struggle in the company.
Solid comeback following lay-off when finishing second of seven beaten just over 1l here earlier in the month over 2m3½f. Tough ask but not easily dismissed.
Well beaten behind Wood Emery at Punchestown in February before being tailed off before three when pulled up over C&D last month. Looks opposable.
Modest 86-rated hurdler when last seen beaten 96L in November 2016 at Down Royal over 2m6f. Best watched on return.
Raced in the rear of mid division before being one-paced eventually finishing sixth of 14 beaten over 16L on return to hurdling last month. Out of form recently and hard to fancy.
Was left toiling in a number of starts at the end of the year before a promising third of 10 and a fifth of 13 here last month but looks vulnerable in this company.

Forecasts
Ballinabearna (7/2), Nerual (5/1), Oh'herewego (6/1), Mick The Jiver (7/1), Cowboy Des Long (8/1), Betterthanalright (10/1), Dawn Light Cave (12/1), Thereisnodoubt (14/1), So Influential (14/1), Call Of The Loon (14/1), Perfect Man (16/1), Erkindale Lady (16/1), Heather Moth (16/1), Do Be Doin' (20/1), Western Goose (25/1), Macs Bach (33/1)
There could be a fascinating duel for the lead in the early stages as So Influential, Mick The Jiver and Betterthanalright contest the lead here. The pace in the conditions could be an advantage to those coming late with BALLINABEARNA taken to build on his win here last month under jockey Phillip Enright. The gelding has to overcome a 12lb hike in the weights but is in solid form right now. Thereisnodoubt and Nerual can give the selection the most to think about.
- Ballinabearna
- Thereisnodoubt
- Nerual
