Sent off favourite last four starts but only won one of them, although possibly didn't stay Plumpton's 3m1f last time out. Not the strongest of finishers anyway but at least has conditions to suit, and should be thereabouts at the death.

Went close here (on heavy ground) in December but two efforts since then have left plenty to be desired, and now connections reach for blinkers to remedy the situation. Hard to predict how he will react to that and others preferred.

Well beaten in novice hurdles and was on the retreat when falling in a similar event to this at Huntingdon last time. Cheekpieces given a try now and whilst it's early days, he's not shown enough to be of interest yet.

A few that have seen better days and a few that may well improve in here. Top of those that may well leave their previous form behind now they get decent ground is LAPFORD LAD, who looks nicely handicapped if you believe his bumper form and has been slogging around on winter ground for a while. At First Light is one who's best days are behind her but she may still be capable at this level and any market support needs heeding. Soulsaver has the form in the book and ought to be around at the finish.
