Put up a decent reappearance run at Lingfield (1m4f, AW) last month when upped to this trip for the first time. Concern that he was well held on heavy ground last year, though that may have been the quality of the Listed opposition. Short-listed.

Handled soft ground well enough at Doncaster (7f) in June and improved on all her two-year-old form when scoring on her return at Wolverhampton (1m4f, Tapeta) in March. Likely to be more to come from her and she also makes the short-list.

140,000 gns yearling. First foal of 1m4f winning half-sister to 7f/1m Group 3 winner Purr Along and 5f Listed winner Katawi. Dam handled soft ground as, of course, did his stellar sire. Interesting on debut and a market check is a must.

Reasonable form as a juvenile (including on soft) at around 1m. Couldn't better that when comfortably held on reappearance at Lingfield (1m2f). Now upped in trip again but others make more appeal for the moment.
Has just one start as a juvenile and only marginal improvement made on that when returning at Lingfield (1m4f) last month. Likely to be of more interest when going handicapping and should get a mark after this run.

11,000 gns foal whose price tag increased to £65,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to four winners, three sprinters and one (Fools And Kings) over this trip. Stable a little quiet at the moment so perhaps one to watch on debut.

100-1 and beaten 24L on debut at Kempton (1m, Polytrack) in November. Pedigree suggests that this step up in trip is within range but we need to see some ability before she can be recommended.

Forecasts

Yabass (11/8), One Second (11/4), Nibras Galaxy (9/2), Silver Character (13/2), Kittileo (20/1), Universal Gleam (22/1), Enchanting Enya (150/1)

Verdict

Not a lot of strength in depth to this contest and ONE SECOND gets the vote. One of two in the race for trainer Mark Johnston, she has invaluable winning experience and will probably be capable of bettering her last-time win. Stablemate Kittileo is very interesting on debut and a big run from him would be no surprise, while Yabass is likely to pose a threat.
