Unraced seventh foal by Requinto out of the Dutch 1m1f winner Mattinata. Cost £30,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to four winners including Reaver (1m AW winner).
Unraced sixth foal by Red Jazz out of the maiden Ishimagic. Brother to 6f juvenile winner Magic Jazz, and cost €28,000 as a yearling.
Unraced first foal by Moohaajim out of the 6f juvenile winning dam Omanome. Sold for €8,000 as a foal, but that price had risen to £30,000 as a yearling.
Unraced fourth foal by Showcasing out of the maiden dam Ahwahnee. Cost 85,000 gns as a yearling and is a brother to a 5f juvenile winner (Clouds Rest), as well as a half-brother to the winning sprinter Glacier Point.
Unraced 12th foal by Mayson out of an unraced dam (Crinkle). Half-brother to no fewer than six winners including Wave Aside (6f) and Mr Sandicliffe (6f).
Unraced seventh foal by Slade Power out of the Listed placed 1m winning dam Bergamask. Half-brother to four winners including Buratino (5f to 6f), so this trainer will know the family line well.

A field of eight newcomers, so without being privy to inside information, not a race in which to form a strong viewpoint. Murqaab ticks plenty of boxes on pedigree and cost the most at 85,000 gns, but that's not always the best pointer to success. So Hi Speed has a US dirt based background, so shouldn't be troubled by racing on Tapeta for a trainer who saddled a first time out three-year-old winner at this track on Good Friday (Cowboy Soldier). However, we'll chance the Mark Johnston trained SMILE A MILE. His trainer knows this family line well, having saddled his half-brother Buratino to Coventry Stakes success at Royal Ascot in 2015.
