Indian Streamt37
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-10| J: T Scudamore| T: N P Mulholland| OR:  143| C
14/1
Put some ordinary efforts behind her when fourth of nine in the Mares' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival when she was sent off at 66-1. Won't be that sort of price this time and warrants respect despite top weight.
2
Horse silk
The Organist36
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-7| J: B J Geraghty| T: O Sherwood| OR:  140| D
5/1
Ran right up to her best when fifth in the Coral Cup, having been given plenty to do. Has been raised 1lb, but reproduction of that latest effort would put her in the firing line.
3
Horse silk
Brillare Momentop34
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-6| J: Aidan Coleman| T: M Keighley| OR:  139| CD
8/1
Four wins from nine starts over timber and ran well off this mark in the Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle at the Festival. Has winning form on good ground.
4
Horse silk
Midnight Jazzp37
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-3| J: Kielan Woods| T: B I Case| OR:  136| D
14/1
Behind Indian Stream at this track last month, but is 7lb better off for a beating of just over 3L. Effective on this sort of surface and likely to give it a bold shot.
5
Horse silk
Copper Kay91
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-13| J: R Johnson| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR:  132| C
14/1
Not at her best this season and fell in a chase when last seen at Ludlow in January. Not totally ruled out, but others have stronger claims.
6
Horse silk
Melangerie62
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-6| J: James Bowen(3)| T: N J Henderson| OR:  125| C
12/1
Back-to-back wins at Ludlow before pulling up at Sandown last time. The heavy ground may have been to blame that day and this sounder surface and first run in handicap company may see her fare much better.
7
Horse silk
Petticoat Tails26
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-6| J: B S Hughes| T: W Greatrex| OR:  125| D
7/1
Recorded wins at Wetherby and Newcastle before finishing a creditable fifth of 16 in quite a hot handicap at Newbury last time. Up 3lb, but should remain competitive.
8
Horse silk
Apache Song22
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-6| J: J M Quinlan| T: J M P Eustace| OR:  125
33/1
Back to form when winning well on heavy ground at Wincanton last month. Has winning form on a sound surface, however, and a bigger worry would be a 6lb rise in the handicap.
9
Horse silk
Holly Flightt231
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-5| J: Bridget Andrews(3)| T: D Skelton| OR:  124
20/1
Winner of one of her five starts over hurdles in Ireland. Makes her debut for a canny stable and does not look badly handicapped. Worth a check in the betting.
10
Horse silk
The Delray Munkyp19
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-5| J: Ross Chapman(3)| T: I Jardine| OR:  124
14/1
Has won her last four races, the latter on the disqualification of the first past the post at Haydock. Continues to climb the weights and has to prove she is as effective on this better ground.
11
Horse silk
Whatzdjazz28
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-5| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR:  124| D
12/1
Three wins from seven starts over hurdles, but has struggled in her last two on soft ground. Return to a sounder surface and a lower mark gives her a solid chance for a stable which also sends out Holly Flight.
12
Horse silk
Rejaaht55
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-4| J: Tom Cannon| T: N J Hawke| OR:  123
20/1
Only two runs since returning from a lengthy absence and soft going was against her on both occasions. Should do better this time given the ground and her reduced handicap mark, but still has a bit to prove.
13
Horse silk
Oscar Rose26
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-3| J: P J Brennan| T: F O'Brien| OR:  122| BF
5/1
Placed three times, but without a win in seven races over hurdles. Just behind Petticoat Tails at Newbury last time, though, and has each-way claims on the strength of that display.
15
Horse silk
Jubilympics26
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-1| J: Daniel Sansom(5)| T: J W Mullins| OR:  120
20/1
Disappointed on handicap debut at Plumpton, but went down 1lb and ran a blinder to be third at Newbury next time with Petticoat Tails and Oscar Rose behind. Up 5lb, which is a worry, but has few miles on the clock.
16
Horse silk
Majestic Moll138
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-1| J: Adam Wedge| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR:  120
12/1
Off the mark at the third attempt when making all in a Doncaster novices' hurdle in December. Has been given a break before this handicap debut and is certainly one to keep a close eye on in the betting.
17
Horse silk
Petronella Manners24
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-0| J: Hugh Nugent(7)| T: H D Daly| OR:  117
40/1
Best effort so far when second of 16 at Huntingdon last month. Makes his handficap debut from 2lb out of the handicap, but has a promising claimer on board.
18
Horse silk
Northern Beaup60
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-0| J: Benjamin Poste| T: M Scudamore| OR:  109
66/1
Second in two novice hurdles before being pulled up on handicap debut at Market Rasen. Faces a huge task from 10lb out of the handicap.

Verdict

Plenty of contenders for this decent prize. Those at the higher end of the handicap, such as Indian Stream, The Organist, Brillare Memento and Midnight Jazz, bring solid form to the table, but there is always the chance that a less exposed type may prove too strong for them and that could be the case again with WHATZDJAZZ boasting solid claims back on a sound surface and off a reduced handicap mark. Jubilympics, Oscar Rose and Petticoat Tails all ran well at Newbury last time and have chances, along with Majestic Moll and Melangerie.
