Dubawi filly, cost 720,000 gns as a foal. Half-sister to five winners, most notably Royal Bench, (Group 2 winner over this trip) and dam a half-sister to Group 2 winner. Yard won this last year and had a fine start to the season; leading claims.

Ran well in three maidens but well beaten on only start in Group company and she was a no show dropped in class at Kempton last time. Likely to struggle against some very well bred sorts here.

Le Havre filly, cost 1,500 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to juvenile winner over 7f. Well beaten at Lingfield on debut and hard to fancy in this.

Kitten's Joy filly, cost 70,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to three winners including a Listed winner. Dam Listed placed who won over this trip, also half-sister to Group 3 winner over this trip. Yard can ready one for debut; interesting runner.

Makfi filly, cost 65,000 gns as a foal. Half-sister to five winners including a Listed winner over further and dam related to top-class Fame And Glory. Yard started the season well but this filly was well beaten on debut and others preferred.

Frankel filly, half-sister to six winners including two Listed winners and an Austrian Group 2 winner. Dam a Listed winner over a mile. Couldn't justify favouritism on debut at Yarmouth and form of that race not working out but expected to improve.

Declaration Of War filly, cost €90,000 as a yearling. Dam Group-placed. Ran well on debut but didn't figure two weeks later. Yard in good form, had a winner yesterday and too soon to write this one off in a new headgear combination.

Dubawi filly, sister to 1m winner All the Rage and half-sister to four winners including St Leger third Michelangelo. Very green on debut last year. Expected to do better now for the yard that won this last year.

Poet's Voice filly, dam a half-sister to a Listed winner. Suitable test for debut and can't be dismissed given she has a nice enough pedigree but some classy types in here and may struggle for win purposes.

Forecasts

Qazyna (6/4), Rococo (3/1), Award Winning (9/2), Blanchefleur (10/1), Feline Groovy (12/1), Ripley (16/1), Treasure Me (33/1), Gemini (50/1), Chanson de La Mer (100/1)

Verdict

John Gosden seemingly holds the key to this race with his two runners Rococo and AWARD WINNING with preference for the latter. The Ballydoyle owned filly is beautifully bred and she gets the nod for a yard in flying form. Stablemate Rococo can't be dismissed with improvement expected from her debut while Feline Groovy is another with an attractive pedigree and is worthy of support on her debut.
  1. Award Winning
  2. Rococo
  3. Feline Groovy
