Soft ground Group 3 winner at Haydock in June but only seen once since when well beaten here. Big weight to carry on seasonal return and others preferred given that he's need the run in his last couple of seasons.
Gained a win on the July course here last year and while he's been running well in defeat subsequently, he would probably want a return to rattling fast ground.
Three-time C&D winner who gets his optimum conditions here. Well beaten when last seen here at the end of the season but has made winning reappearances before and not ruled out here.
Not won since landing a maiden on his debut and looks in need of some relief from the handicapper before he's of interest.
Form tailed off at the back end of last year but he shaped like he needed the run on return from an absence last time out and won't mind a return to 7f and some cut in the ground.
Winner of a valuable handicap at Ascot last year but inconsistency either side of that run has to be a concern and showed very little in the Lincoln last time. Wears a first-time visor.
Looked like a potentially very smart prospect when winner here over this trip on the July course but didn't kick on from that run subsequently. Very poor effort on AW last time and hard to know what form he's in at present.
Two time winner here on the July course last summer and won three of her six starts in total. Very exciting prospect who could be on a workable handicap mark for her return to action and the one to beat if ready after the absence.
Started the 2017 season with an excellent third in the Lincoln but very disappointing subsequently. Unplaced in four starts here and probably wants better ground.
C&D winner when last seen at the end of last season and nicely handicapped on his earlier career efforts if arriving in the same form here. Gets the services of Moore in the saddle and an obvious player if ready to go.
In sparkling form in the first half of 2017, winning five handicaps rising in the handicap by 23lb. Not in the same form in the second half of the year. Offered something to work on from his latest run and has slipped below his last winning mark.
Lost out by just a neck to the subsequent Lincoln winner at Ascot two runs back and not disgraced back at that course last time. Well suited to a big field and plenty of cover and should run well.
Returned with a win on first start last year at Yarmouth but very poor throughout the rest of the campaign. Likely to want faster ground than what he will get here.
Has two AW wins to his name and while he's yet to win on turf, he does run well and has placed on four of his turf starts. Ran well here on the July course last year and not ruled out.

INSHIRAAH deserves to be favourite for this given how she performed here last year and the filly it's less exposed than many of her rivals. Pastime is an interesting runner, despite the fact he's never won on turf, he's ran some sound races including on the July course here and he's another who is not fully exposed. The booking of Ryan Moore is eye-catching on board Medieval and the course and distance winner should be there at the business end of the race if ready to go at the first time of asking.
