Stays all day, coming down in the handicap after a few moderate efforts though and never got in the contest at Sandown last time. Step up in trip will help though, and a return to form wouldn't be the biggest surprise.
Improving and the beneficiary of a good ride last time when holding on by a head at Fontwell. Only gets a 2lb rise for that but the worry is that his wins have come in a lesser grade. On that, and with stamina to fully prove, he's passed over.
Likes the track (a win and a place from two chase starts here) and only 1lb higher than last win. Yard coming back to form after a moderate season and if he can see the trip out, could be a surprise package.
Grand sort that tries his best, been hurdling for much of this season but on a fair mark and will like this right-handed track. Needs to show he really stays this trip and has to jump cleanly (doesn't always) to hold best chance.
Certainly well enough handicapped if he can recapture his best form but despite the odd good effort, you've got to go back to 2015 for his last win. Yard continue to struggle for winners as well, and it all looks a bit too much for him at present.
Huge horse that's already a C&D winner in the soft, so has that going for him, but threw in a stinker here last time and now needs to put that behind him. Hard to predict then, but on a going day, would be a threat to all.

Forecasts
Ballyheigue Bay (3/1), Spookydooky (7/2), Wizards Bridge (4/1), Knockanrawley (9/2), Krackatoa King (9/2), Yanmare (11/2), Royal Palladium (6/1)
A slog in the mud is ideal for KNOCKANRAWLEY and he can take advantage of this easier company to get himself back to winning ways, Guessing which of the others fancies it today is a game in itself, as consistency isn't exactly a strong point of any of them, but maybe Yanmare could be the one if one a going day. With Venetia Williams going a bit better now, Royal Palladium is worth a second look as well despite a slight question mark at the trip.
- Knockanrawley
- Yanmare
- Royal Palladium
