Ran poorly in novice chase last time having been point to pointing through the winter. Arguably nicely handicapped on old form so any market move for him might well be a strong pointer.
Scored at Catterick in January off 4lb lower mark and never managed to get into it last time at Musselburgh. Yard a little quiet at present but is still respected and shouldn't be far away.
Narrowly missed out under today's rider in three-way photo at Sedgefield last time and with yard still in cracking form there is every chance of another good display running off the same mark.
5lb lower than last winning mark but that was 18 months ago. Has run creditably last three starts but this veteran may still require a little more help from the handicapper before getting his head back in front.
C&D winner two years ago but hasn't done anything of note in recent starts and was well behind when pulled up last time out. Much more needed if he's to be competitive in this event.
Won a hunter chase here last season and a handicap chase here earlier this term. Went close at Musselburgh in December but clearly saves his best for this track and has to enter calculations on that basis, although ground is a negative.
11-race maiden beaten out of sight nearly all starts and has little worthwhile form to recommend him. Continues to plummet in the weights but has a very stiff task yet again.
2lb out of the handicap and still yet to trouble the judge in 13 starts so far under Rules. It looks like more of the same once again unless he has a massive change of heart.
13lb out of the handicap so faces a very stiff task. Remains a maiden after 29 races under Rules and looks long odds-on to clock up the 30 in this event.

Dun Faw Good (3/1), Voyage A New York (7/2), Oscar O'scar (4/1), So Satisfied (4/1), Log On (11/2), Havana Jack (7/1), Tikkandemickey (7/1), Always Tipsy (14/1), Beau Sancy (28/1), Jackofhearts (40/1)
OSCAR O'SCAR only just missed out last time at Sedgefield and in a race where there are question marks about most of his rivals he looks the safest option. Top weight Always Tipsy has been dropping in grade and could bounce back to form any time soon, while So Satisfied is quite capable of getting in amongst them. Course specialist Havana Jack is respected although ground conditions are a concern for him.
