Has failed to build on a promising chasing debut in May subsequently well beaten in five starts since. Market likely to be best guide for chances.
Winner over a similar distance at Ayr last month just holding on to win by a short-head from Acdc. Second of eight last time out in a Thurles handicap chase and looks to be still on a good mark here with efficient claimer in the plate.
Course winner that has also won over the distance. Victorious last time out in a Limerick handicap chase last month beating Milanesque 6½L. Should make his presence felt in this company.
Over two years since sole win over fences, and though not disgraced in a couple of handicap chases before Christmas. Could need the run on return in first time tongue-tie.
Point-to-point, bumper and hurdles winner who has showed definite signs of ability over regulation fences including finishing second of five 2¾L adrift of Crosshue Boy. Market should be informative in first-time cheekpieces.
Well beaten and never a factor in two beginner chases since February and looks up against it here on handicap debut.
Won just once from 36 starts and a maiden after 19 starts over fences. Well beaten 40L behind Poormans Hill last month and looks vulnerable in this company.
Has improved since the fitting of cheekpieces winning his last two starts both at Clonmel last month. Going for the hat-trick off a 7lb higher mark but has a talented claimer on board.
In good form last summer winning at Wexford over an extended 3m1f in June and placing there subsequently. Last seen in September and may need the run on return to the track.
Forecasts
Luckyinmilan (11/4), Cappacurry Zak (5/1), Consharon Boy (6/1), Milsean (13/2), Just Get Cracking (7/1), Angus Milan (15/2), Hanover Street (12/1), Roevin Star (14/1), Lisclogher Lad (18/1)
Lisclogher Lad likes to get on with things from the front in his races and can be expected to do the same here with Milsean chasing behind. The pace in the conditions could set the race up for a battle royal between Cappacurry Zak, Angus Milan and the hat-trick seeking LUCKYINMILAN who looks peerless on heavy ground.
- Luckyinmilan
- Cappacurry Zak
- Angus Milan
