Winner last time out on the Flat in a 1m5f handicap at Navan. Getting back to a similar mark when second of nine at Galway in October. One for the shortlist.
Three wins from 12 starts over hurdles, reaching a mark of 137 having run in some hot handicaps last spring. Below par in two starts this year and needs to improve significantly.
Course winner that has won over this trip. Last seen falling at the first in the Irish national won by General Principle. Could be of each way interest now back hurdling.
Broke his maiden at the 11th attempt when winning a maiden hurdle at Clonmel in February. Ran as well as could be expected when third of 10 on handicap hurdle debut last month. Improvement on the cards again.
In good form in three maiden hurdles since February and has placed here in the past. Best form gives him a claim.
Winner of a couple of minor handicap hurdles last spring but has been struggling in both codes in the run up to Christmas. Will need to improve to figure.
Failed to build on a Cork novice hurdle win in January and could end up struggling a little on handicap hurdle debut. Worth a market check.
Continued his run of improving runs when winning a Clonmel maiden hurdle last month over 2m2½f on heavy ground. Another bold show looks likely.
Solid efforts in two Naas handicap hurdles in January when winning two contests over 2m. Hit with a 12lb rise for those wins and struggled a little last time out.
Forecasts
Prospectus (4/1), R'evelyn Pleasure (4/1), Icario (5/1), Great Khan (5/1), Chatham Street Lad (6/1), Mick The Boyo (9/1), Kilcarry Bridge (10/1), Carrig Cathal (20/1), Mr Picotee (40/1)
Returning to hurdles Kilcarry Bridge could be the one to take the field along here in the early stages with possibly Chatham Street Lad and Great Khan for company. ICARIO is likely to travel in behind the leaders as he did so when winning his maiden hurdle last time out at Down Royal last month, before asserting on the run-in. R'evelyn Pleasure and Chatham Street Lad are both interesting handicap recruits and both look long-term prospects.
