Poor on the Flat for Roger Varian and nothing to show recently for current yard including two heavy defeats in January. Unlikely to trouble the judge.
Finished third of 10 last time out though beaten 32L in a Cork maiden hurdle earlier this month. Tough ask and others preferred.
Failed to build on a promising bumper debut in April 2017 when well beaten next time out when last seen in May last year. Will need to improve to play a role here.
Beaten when odds-on favourite last time out in a Limerick maiden when tipping up at the last when looking the winner. A bold show looks likely.
Modest form and not much to shout about in two starts at Galway and Tramore last August. Looks a tall order in this company.
Weakened under 4f out on debut when finishing lastr of eight eventually beaten 40L at Punchestown in November. Others preferred.
Very modest in the point-to-point field failing to finish three of his four starts and finishing last of eight in the remaining contest.
Well beaten in two and pulled-up in the other in three maiden hurdle starts since the turn of the year. Others preferred in this company.
Well behind in two maiden hurdle starts since the turn of the year but performances are improving slightly.
Stowaway gelding out of a Lil's Boy mare related to Hidden Cyclone, Outlander and Champagne Fever. Market likely to be best guide.
Modest on the Flat for David Elsworth and not a lot to shout about for current connections including a heavy 127L defeat last time out at Navan in February.
Has suffered two defeats recently at Clonmel beaten 67L but was still travelling well when coming down two out. Market possibly the best guide to chances.
Well beaten and never a factor in two maiden hurdle starts in the last month. Will need to improve to take a hand here.
Failed to build on a promising debut run at Naas when finishing down the field in a Gowran Park bumper when last seen in January. Yard without a winner in three weeks and best watched.
Poor Flat handicapper for Mick Halford and Barry John Murphy. Last seen in May 2017 and difficult to make a case on hurdling debut.
Forecasts
Crezic (6/5), Bergkamp (4/1), It's Only A Number (9/2), Reach Up (8/1), Double Portrait (12/1), Jack Wade (16/1), Aquarian (25/1), Jp Dundee (25/1), Askari (50/1), Varkhann (66/1), Justice Ears (66/1), Turpin Tale (66/1), Gaillimh Abu (66/1), Fly De Megaudais (100/1), Indian Heights (100/1)
Game sort Reach Up likes to be up with the pace in the early stages and was still going well when tipping up two out in a Clonmel maiden hurdle last month. Gaillimh Abu, Justice Ears and Double Portrait may keep the early leader company with the Gordon Elliott-trained CREZIC stalking in behind ready to make his move under Jack Kennedy. It's Only A Number and Berkamp can hit the frame.
