Has disappointed connections in a number of horrid displays in two maiden hurdles before a 207L defeat last time out and impossible to recommend in this contest.
Daughter of Fracas out of a Woodman mare. Only got as far as the first on debut in a Thurles maiden hurdle. Others preferred.
Never involved in a bumper and two hurdles starts including being pulled up before two out at Fairyhouse in February. Likely to struggle once more.
Placed in a point-to-point in December and highly tried when contesting a Grade 2 bumper on rules debut at Leopardstown in February. Fourth of nine last month on maiden hurdle debut at Downpatrick. Market should be informative.
Not a lot to shout about in nine hurdle up to October last year. Has won a point-to-point since but may struggle back under rules.
Modest in three point-to-point starts and well beaten when never a factor in a Gowran Park bumper in February. Unlikely to play a part in the finish.
Beaten a total of 119L in two bumper appearances at Fairyhouse and Thurles. Looks well out of her depth here.
Pulled up on maiden hurdle debut in January before showing a hint of promise without troubling the leaders when finishing fourth of 12 at Clonmel. Slight promise since and one to have on the shortlist.
Daughter of Al Namix out of a Dadarissime mare. No impression on leaders and weakened after three out on debut at Cork last month. Improvement likely and worth a market check.
Getaway filly out of a Orpen mare related to money spinner Leslingtaylor, multiple winner for trainer John Quinn. Market likely to reveal expectations on debut.
Forecasts
Fiveaftermidnight (15/8), Turanga Lilly (3/1), Edna (7/2), Kilbarry Angel (5/1), Harry Smiles (16/1), She's Commanche (33/1), Devine Star (40/1), Dorus Day (50/1), Mama Tried (66/1), Feisty Madam (100/1)
Kilbarry Angel disputed the lead on debut and could be up there vying for the lead in the early stages with Harry Smiles and Edna for company. The early pace in the conditions could prove positive for the potential improver from the Gordon Elliott yard TURANGA LILLY who slowly looks to be getting the hang of things. Fiveaftermidnight can give the selection the most to think about.
- Turanga Lilly
- Fiveaftermidnight
- Edna
