Fair degree of promise in bumpers at Ayr and over C&D. Sets a decent standard for the others to aim at and leading stable remains in good form.
Geordieland gelding who was bought for £40,000 as a three-year-old and is a half-brother to a couple of winners over hurdles. In good hands and is worth checking for market support.
Son of Native Ruler who was a tailed-off last of nine at Bangor on debut. Probably capable of better, but is best watched on this occasion.
Yeats gelding out of a King's Ride mare and is a half-brother to four winners including the useful Glenquest. Hails from a top stable and is certainly one to note on his racecourse debut.
By Authorized out of a Shirley Heights mare, she is a half-sister to two winners on the Flat. Plenty of stamina in her pedigree and may need this debut run.
Daughter of Sulamani out of an Overbury mare, she is a half-sister to three winners over hurdles and in a bumper. Likely to be better for this debut experience.
Forecasts
Little Rory Mac (2/1), Cydercourt (3/1), Geordie B (7/2), Darlyn (4/1), Jaunty Velocity (9/1), Steve Mequine (50/1)
With four of the six runners making their debuts, there is plenty of guesswork invovled. Little Rory Mac may be the best of those debutants, but he will have to be quite useful to beat CYDERCOURT, who has showed a fair level of ability in two outings and can make it third time lucky. Jaunty Velocity may take the minor honours.
- Cydercourt
- Little Rory Mac
- Jaunty Velocity
