Dual novice hurdle winner over shorter trips in the autumn she now goes into handicaps for the second time having fallen on her handicap debut. Travelled well enough on that occasion although the mark still looks stiff and disappointed last time.

Showed improved form to get off the mark on her handicap debut (stepped up in trip). Given a stiff rise in the weights on the back of that for winning (weak race) and shaped well enough on her first try at 3m last time (better than bare result).

Three wins in small-field novices last year at up to 2m6f she's been handed a stiff looking mark having not tried this trip before. May well have needed the outing over 2m last time when going from the front; more needed over trip and off this mark.

Not seen for a while bur ran just as well in defeat in her last start as she had on her previous outing when she scored over 2m6f at Newton Abbot, travelling well in a strongly run race. Looks capable off this mark if she's ready to go first time up.

A consistent sort in handicaps of late managing to get into the frame in her last three handicap starts. Her last winning mark was 8lb lower though and this perch is probably just too testing for her to win off.

Back from wind surgery last time but that did nothing to cure the lazy streak that runs through her. She isn't a thorough stayer either and this trip looks too much of a test for her; cheekpieces are now tried to help her travel better.

Now had two runs since a wind operation over fences and she looks the sort who was threatening to come good soon. Once again she shaped better than the bare result last time but it remains to be seen how she copes with higher mark back over hurdles.

Given time to get over what was an exacting test at Towcester last time in testing conditions. Prior to that run she had looked on a couple of occasions as if she was running into some form although this 3m might prove to be just a little too far.

Struggled last time out on her first run back from a wind operation (always behind) having shown little prior to that. Now resides just above her last wining mark but for all that others are preferred given her last run.

Looked the sort who might step forward from novice races but showed very little on her handicap debut on the back of some wind surgery. Friendless in the betting that day there may be more to come over a longer trip but she comes with risks.

Managed to win a bumper on her debut and looked to have been brought along with handicaps in mind. Was handed a stiff looking mark for her debut though and runs off the same mark here with hopes pinned on a first try at 3m.

A fall to a more sensible and realistic mark plus some wind surgery look to have been the catalysts behind her improved display last time (2m5f). Unlucky to bump into an improving sort there she's upped in trip again; also back up 5lb in the weights.

Verdict

Plenty of these are trying their hands at this trip for the first time and on the back of wind surgery and the race has a difficult feel about it. Drinks Interval along with a few others looks on a stiff mark here and MOLLY CHILDERS from a yard that do well with this type looks the one to side with having shaped better than her final position last time and looking unexposed as a stayer. Kentford Heiress would have a chance to pick up on her good form of last year if she’s fit and ready while Grace Tara looks of interest returning to hurdles having run well the last twice over fences. Of those at the foot of the handicapper Versifier catches the eye the most.
