Winning for the ninth time when successful over this trip at Lingfield last time out. Has to defy a 6lb rise for that success and a wide draw today is far from ideal.
Dual winner on turf and held over C&D on her last three starts. Handicap mark is steadily falling but likely to find a few too good once more.
Successful twice over C&D in late 2017 and finished a fair fourth here on his most recent outing in January. Interesting runner on his return from a break.
Victorious here in February and a winner over this trip at Lingfield last time out. Raised 5lb for that success and has a wide draw to contend with today.
Well beaten in four starts since finishing a neck third at Newmarket over 6f last August. Probably best watched at present.
Latest success came over this trip at Lingfield in December. Has struggled in two subsequent outings however but races off a mark just 1lb higher than for that victory today.
Winner twice over C&D since being gelded in the autumn and ran well when finishing 2L second over this trip at Lingfield recently. One for the shortlist with a good draw today.
Dundalk maiden winner over 6f on his final start for Edward Lynam. Well held in three subsequent outings including on stable debut last time.
Running well in the main this AW season and recorded his third C&D win when successful here back in February. Making his first appearance since following a 3lb rise and represents a yard going well (2/5) at present.
Returned to form when finishing 3L second over 7f at Lingfield last time out. Remains to be seen whether cheekpieces worn for the first time on that occasion will have the same effect today.
Admirable veteran but held over this trip the last twice including over C&D on his penultimate outing. More needed if he's to take this.
Finished runner-up under an apprentice rider over C&D last time out. Returns from a break today and is one for the shortlist off a 2lb lower mark with a leading jockey booked to ride.
Forecasts
Critical Thinking (5/1), Herm (5/1), Acadian Angel (6/1), Prince Jai (7/1), Viola Park (8/1), Ubla (17/2), Grey Destiny (12/1), Air Of York (14/1), Vincenzo Coccotti (14/1), Showdance Kid (16/1), Light From Mars (25/1), Peace Officer (25/1)
David Evans' HERM has been running well of late and he can reverse recent running with Critical Thinking in the concluding 7f handicap. The selection has a good draw in stall number four today and looks capable of registering a second C&D victory of the year. The booking of Richard Kingscote catches the eye on Prince Jai and he can follow up February's second by finishing third on his return from a break.
- Herm
- Critical Thinking
- Prince Jai
