Pulled up on his latest point-to-point start last month and it is clearly apparent that she may struggle here.
Pitiful bumper efforts around this time last year beaten over 200L in three starts. Very little to be positive about here.
Runner-up on sole point-to-point start in February under today's rider. Worth a market check with yard who likes a winner at this meeting.
Has finished second in three of her last four starts including two since the turn of the year. Will need to improve but place claims.
Placed on both point-to-point starts this calendar year finishing second of nine last time out in March. More needed in this company.
Getaway mare who was beaten 1¼l in a 3m point-to-point in March but may find this a tall order.
Modest form in two point-to-point starts since the turn of the year. First-time hood unlikely to bring about sufficient improvement.
Winner of a point-to-point in January over 3m beating six rivals 8L. Now racing for powerful connections and likely to be a warm order here.
Has produced a number of drab performances in his point-to-point career and unlikely to play a part in the finish here on racecourse debut with first-time tongue-tie.
Winner of a 3m point-to-point contest in heavy conditions in December. Plenty of racing since without note and hard to fancy here.
Forecasts
Portnablagh (9/10), Carrigmoorna Wood (7/2), Goulane Jessie (7/1), Ballybrowney Walk (10/1), Impulsive Leader (16/1), Miss Delighted (20/1), Queenstown Breeze (20/1), Baile Boru (25/1), Ruby On Broadway (40/1), Old Head (40/1)
Couple of interesting sorts here in the shape of the Robert Tyner-trained Carrigmoorna Wood and Seamus Spillane's six-year-old mare Goulane Jessie but both will have to improve to worry the Gordon Elliott-trained Gigginstown owned PORTNABLAGH who won by 8L in a Dungarvan point-to-point in January and can convert that form in the closing bumper.
- Portnablagh
- Carrigmoorna Wood
- Goulane Jessie
