Fell on debut but produced a fine win last time out in a 3m point-to-point and likely to be a warm order here for powerful connections.

Tailed off on sole bumper when finishing 13th of 14 beaten 37L in December 2016 at Punchestown over 2m. Winner on the point-to-point circuit and looks up against it here.
Gelding that never seem to run two races the same in the point-to-point ranks. Unlikely to play a part in the finish.

Well bred gelding with two solid point-to-point results to date in February and March. Needs to show significant improvement though in this company.

Jockey booking could well be the only positive here for the Golan gelding who finished second of three in a March point-to-point and looks up against it on racecourse debut.
Nothing wrong with his point-to-point win last month over 3m beating 13 rivals 1L. Will handle the ground and has big place claims.

Solid effort last time out when winning a 3m point-to-point beating 13 rivals 6L on yielding to soft ground. One for the shortlist.
Point-to-point winner in November but has produced three gloomy displays since. Will need to improve in this company.

Forecasts

Billaway (15/8), The Dabbler (7/2), Speedy Buck (7/2), Occupied (5/1), Judkin (12/1), Calderone (16/1), Crossley Tender (33/1), Three Loud Knocks (33/1)

Verdict

Hard to see further than BILLAWAY who won on his last point-to-point start in February over 3m and is likely to be a warm order in this contest. The Dabbler on racecourse debut and the Paul Cashman-trained Speedy Buck look future prospects but can hit the frame here.
  1. Billaway
  2. The Dabbler
  3. Speedy Buck
