Fitzgeralds Vienna Woods Hotel & Villas Cork Handicap Chase

Course winner that has won over the distance winning a Thurles handicap hurdle in January and not disgraced in two subsequent defeats at Gowran Park and here over C&D just over a week ago. Worth a market check.

Winning for the seventh time over hurdles when victorious at Limerick in December. Rarely runs two races alike as proved when pulling up next time out at Thurles off a 6lb higher mark. Distance winner with each way claims.

Raised 7lb for a 2¼L win at Clonmel over 2m2f in February but has appeared to struggle off his revised mark beaten 8L over this trip last month in a Clonmel handicap chase.

Good effort in finishing fourth in a handicap chase over C&D on yielding-to-soft ground in December before another gallant run on return to the track last month at Leopardstown. Likely to be popular in the betting.

Beaten favourite in a Punchestown cross country chase over 3m when last seen in a year ago. Likely to find this on the sharp side and could be a prep for the Punchestown festival.

More than six years without a win, and despite not being beaten too far last time is hard to get too excited about.

Won off a mark of 88 in January in a Fairyhouse handicap chase over 2m1f before possibly turned out too quickly at Down Royal four days later. Better latest when third of 10 at Navan and one for the shortlist.
