Is taking small steps forward with each run, but yet to get off the mark and best effort was a 20L defeat at Fontwell (2m1½f, heavy) in January, poor since at Sandown on heavy. More needed.
Won a claimer at Fairyhouse on the Flat back in 2014, spent 852-days away before making hurdles debut for this trainer. 150/1 both starts over timber and nothing to be positive about.
Record of 1-23 in his career, winning over 1m4f on the AW at Wolverhampton in December 2016 from a mark of 68. One promising run (from five) over timber came at Towcester last May, poor subsequently.
Best effort from three over hurdles when third in 2m3f Lingfield maiden hurdle early last month. Needs to take a step forward from that to land the prize.
Low grade on the Flat and didn't pull any trees up on hurdles debut here in December, beaten when unseating since at Fontwell and easier to look elsewhere for now it seems.
Failed to complete in runs at Towcester and Fontwell either side of New Year, having gone off big prices both times. Booked for a minor role on that evidence.
Third on his last three hurdles starts, most recently at Lingfield over longer trip last month when getting into a scrap. Will have learned from that, down in trip now and amongst most promising in modest bunch.
Spent a long time off the track after winning an Irish maiden point-to-point in April 2015, not without support in Huntingdon bumper on Boxing Day on return but never competitive and plenty to prove now.
Dam from family of talented Cyfor Malta has shown little in four starts to date, though was slightly better over this C&D when just over 15L fourth of 10. Has to build on that effort.
Maiden after 14 starts and pulled up over 2m on good to firm ground here on hurdles debut in April. Others make more appeal off the break.
Has been runner up four times over hurdles in seven starts, though also running well in decent handicaps in that spell. Drops into maiden company and surely has his chance now.
Forecasts
Jumping Jack (15/8), Pull Together (2/1), It's Got Legs (7/2), Six Gun Serenade (10/1), Airtight (12/1), Snowy Oscar (18/1), Montycristo (33/1), Elusive Cowboy (100/1), Mr Jack (200/1), Chocolate Diamond (200/1), Spice Boat (200/1)
JUMPING JACK has already registered a quartet of runner-up finishes in just seven starts over hurdles, but he's fancied to go one better now. He ran well in a decent handicap at Ascot recently and should be fit to take his opportunity back in maiden company. Pull Together has also got a habit of finishing second. He drops in trip after a decent effort at Lingfield last time, but may again be the bridesmaid. It's Got Legs looks best of the rest.
