Enjoying a fine season, including heavy-ground Cheltenham win in January. Found only the impressive Mohaayed too good in the County Hurdle at the Festival and, despite 4lb rise and top-weight, is likely to go well again.

Thriving for this trainer, making it two from three by landing the Imperial Cup at Sandown last month. Hung in the finish and survived an inquiry to retain his prize, should be capable of going well under 6lb penalty.

Improving sort, having won over C&D in January and followed up at Fontwell under a penalty, stepping out of novice company now and needs to improve a decent chunk to score on these terms.

Progressive five-year-old in cracking form since switching to handicaps and having the hood added. Ready winner at Taunton last time (2m3f, heavy), plenty more on his plate having gone up 12lb since but could be capable of further improvement.

Lightly-raced but produced career-best when holding off The Mighty Don at Kempton (2m5f, good to soft) in February. Gone up 5lb and in a better race now, another step forward is going to be needed.

French import, yet to score in three starts for Gary Moore but plenty positives. Reappeared at Newbury recently when chasing home the impressive Sizing Granite. He goes up 3lb but retains untapped potential,

Scored at Kempton in February on the back of a 14-month layoff, not as good next time out and seemingly facing stiff task from 6lb wrong at the weights.

Forecasts

Kings Walk (7/2), Early Du Lemo (7/2), Vado Forte (4/1), Jaisalmer (9/2), Mr Antolini (5/1), Remiluc (6/1), Alberta (33/1), Thats My Rabbit (33/1)

Verdict

The top two on the card have the best form and might be able to prove their class despite giving away weight. REMILUC produced a really excellent effort in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham amidst a fine season. He's up 4lb now, will handle conditions and might just be up to carrying top-weight. Imperial Cup winner Mr Antolini is by no means ruled out despite his penalty and should go well against for Nigel Twiston-Davies. The progressive Vado Forte must defy a 12lb ratings hike but isn't dismissed while the reappearance of Early Du Lemo at Newbury was encouraging and he could have plenty more to say for himself on just his fourth start on British soil.
  1. Remiluc
  2. Mr Antolini
  3. Early Du Lemo
