129-rated handicap hurdler who makes his chasing debut wont mind the conditions and has placed over this distance. Market likely to reveal expectations.
Failed to build on a promising run behind Sutton Manor on St Stephens day when finishing well behind Livelovelaugh before a 53L defeat last time out at Gowran Park in February. Worth a market check with yard still pursuing this trip.
Only chase start came in August 2016 when finishing second of 12 over 2m6f. Not getting any younger and could find a couple of these finishing quicker.
Distance winner who will go on the ground. Under pressure in third when coming down at the last on beginners chase debut at Fairyhouse last month. Market likely to reveal expectations.
Four chase starts have produced a number of dismal efforts the latest a 11½L defeat at Limerick last month. Will need to improve to figure.
Has failed to build on a promising chasing debut in May subsequently well beaten in four starts since and failing to finish on his last two outings.
Robin Des Pres gelding out of a Mr Combustible mare related to solid jumpers Petit Robin, Possol and recent Bangor-On-Dee novice hurdle winner Knockrobin. Possibly best watched on rules debut.
124L adrift of Ballinabearna on return to the track following a two year absence in a Limerick handicap hurdle. Chasing debut at the age of 12 does not stir much confidence.
Well beaten and no impression in two beginners chases last month finishing a total of 83L adrift of the winners. Looks up against it here.
Sole chase start came in November when finishing third of 10 beaten 29L over 2m5f. Improvement on that run needed and not out of the question.
Daughter of Milan out of a Pistolet Bleu mare. 121-rated hurdler who wont mind the conditions and she has place claims if jumping fluently.
Forecasts
Burgas (9/4), Highland Fling (4/1), Ballyegan Hero (4/1), Milsean (7/1), Hugo 'n Taz (8/1), High Nellie (10/1), Lakemilan (12/1), Bye Bye O Bye (33/1), The Pounds (33/1), Robins Spirit (40/1), Barna Gallery (50/1)
The Gigginstown pair Milsean and BURGAS could contest the lead in the early stages here over 2m4f with The Pounds, Highland Fling and Ballyegan Hero chasing in behind, a pace that could have a few in trouble some way out. BURGAS can improve on his last two starts in this company to land the spoils with Highland Fling and Milsean hitting the frame.
- Burgas
- Highland Fling
- Milsean
