€85,000 yearling by Casamento who is unbeaten in two starts at this track (7f and 1m). Clearly learning his trade quickly and strong at the finish in both of those races, so very few concerns he'll stay 1m2f. Much respected despite top-weight.
A maiden on turf, but now 2/3 since switched to the AW. Back from a winter break to score by a neck over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton latest (beating Battle Lines). Further improvement required.
Bolted up on his handicap debut (seasonal reappearance) over the straight mile here last week, beating Taifbalady by 2L. Has the size and scope to progress further and looked to be a relentless galloper, so an extra 2f should suit.
Finished runner up in each of his last three starts on Fibresand at Southwell (7f to 1m). However, was beaten 6L by Kripke in a 1m maiden latest and that's nowhere near good enough for this opposition. Handicap debut.
Camelot filly; 50,000 gns yearling. Her juvenile form in 7f-1m maidens/novice events reads okay, locking horns with the likes of Gronkowski and Purser (both contest the Burradon Stakes earlier). This longer trip should suit on AW/handicap debut.

With Harmonica out following a dismal effort here on Wednesday Evening, Sir Mark Prescott is now single handed with RUDE AWAKENING. However, it's a very strong hand to hold, with this imposing three-year-old looking to be a relentless galloper when scoring decisively on handicap debut over 1m here last week. There's little doubt that he's better than his current mark and he should take this step up in trip in his stride. On the flip side, this rates as a much stiffer assignment with the thoroughly likeable and equally progressive course winner Casey Jones in the line up, as well as the still unexposed Charles Hills trained filly Arthenia.
