Has shown some smart form in France, including when runner-up behind the promising Mr Owen (races in 4.40) in a Listed race. Impressive winner at Chantilly on AW earlier in the month and has to be considered.
Won his maiden here and was impressive at Kempton on first AW start of the season in November. Too keen in follow up bid and found out in Listed company behind Kachy last time to some extent so may struggle on these terms.
Dual Group 3 winner on turf and proved his effectiveness on AW when winning a Listed race over C&D last time out. No guarantee he will get an easy lead but he'll be tough to pass regardless.
Four-time course winner and runner up in this race last year. Doesn't always look the easiest ride and probably better over 5f but has place claims regardless.
Has been running well on AW this winter and rattled off a hat-trick that included a course win at the back end of last year. Fair efforts in defeat on his last two runs but needs to improve in a much stronger race here.
Beaten just ½L behind Kachy here last time when fourth of 12. Will enjoy the strong pace that's likely and gets his optimum conditions here (6f, AW) but will struggle to reverse form with Kachy and may find a couple of others too good.
Speedy front-runner, narrowly beaten by Quiet Reflection in 2016 Commonwealth Cup. Has returned to form on AW this winter and recorded a C&D Listed success here last time (five of these in behind). Should run well but faces competition for the lead.
Won this last year and was a runner-up to Kachy in Listed company over C&D last time out with several of these in behind. Well beaten since at Wolverhampton but can return to form here and has solid claims of back-to-back wins in the race.

Forecasts
Kachy (11/8), Gifted Master (5/2), City Light (8/1), Kimberella (8/1), Intisaab (8/1), Atletico (10/1), Gulliver (16/1), Double Up (25/1), Gracious John (33/1)
Last year's winner Kimberella is something of a course and distance specialist but it's KACHY who is preferred after narrowly prevailing in Listed company over course and distance when last seen. The five-year-old was unlucky when touched off in Group 1 company as a three-year-old and there may be more to come from him on artificial surfaces. Gifted Master is a tough competitor who could prove to be the main danger while Atletico could be the seen to better effect if there's plenty of pace on.
- Kachy
