Gained his first win on these shores at Kempton last time and had a useful yardstick back in second as well an exciting prospect in third. No doubt he had the run of the race but handicapper has only put him up 2lb and should give his running again.
French Listed winner as a juvenile and a smart horse on his day but he's been below form this year since returning from a break and often refuses to settle in his races. Others preferred.
Only just touched off at Lingfield last time out and won second time out over C&D last season. Still has a bit of scope off this mark and should run well.
Rattled off a four-timer on the AW in 2015 when with Godolphin but bought for just £3,000 by these connections last year. No real signs of encouragement on return from a near three year absence at Wolverhampton and probably best watched.
Returned from a near three year absence at Wolverhampton last time when failing to beat a rival home (finished behind Greatest Journey and C Note). Useful performer on his day (Listed winner) but probably best watched for now.
Dual C&D winner already this year. Very impressive last time when cantering in to the race and winning with much more conviction than the ½L winning margin suggested. Obvious claims if arriving in the same form.
Forecasts
Noble Gift (11/4), Nonios (7/2), Kyllachy Gala (7/2), C Note (4/1), Calling Out (6/1), Greatest Journey (14/1), Tenor (50/1)
There was plenty to like about the way NONIOS won over course and distance last time and a reproduction of that effort should be enough to land this. Noble Gift is another with course and distance form to his name and has won off higher marks before while C Note got his first all-weather win on the board last time and can't be dismissed if improving from that effort.
